Creating new public spaces using civic land use and development tools
- Chief Robert Joseph, Karen Joseph and Reconciliation Canada, with the support of Taylor-Harvey Inc., organized events to welcome and support the Indian Residential Schools Survivors and the TRC Commissioners convening for the Vancouver hearings. The highlight was the Walk for Reconciliation with over 70,000 participants.

Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Cultural Olympiad and LiveCity Vancouver
- The largest, longest and most in-depth festival of arts and popular culture in the history of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games with more than 5.8 people sharing in the unprecedented creative showcase and an atmosphere of celebration and pride.
International Olympic Committee (IOC) Guide on Cultural Olympiad
- Based on the success of the Vancouver 2010 Cultural and Celebrations programs the IOC commissioned Taylor-Harvey Inc. to "write the book" for Cultural Olympiads for future Games. The Guide sets out IOC policy objectives and program expectations, as well as many of the means to achieve them.
Developing a Culture Plan through learning-based community engagement
- While THI principals have done several arts and cultural strategic plans over the years, the Vancouver 2008 -2018 Culture Plan set a new standard for community engagement and policy scope.
Creative City Network: a pioneer in community-of-practice and knowledge transfer
- A ground-breaking community of practice started by THI principals in 1998 led to founding of a national organization linking 130 municipalities’ cultural development policy-makers sharing peer-to-peer support, tools and ideas.
Creating new public spaces using civic land use and development tools
- Working collaboratively across City departments and with the development community to leverage zoning and development tools to create new social and cultural facilities at no cost to taxpayers.
